Back to the Mat: When Yoga Stops Flowing, and How to Find Your Way Back

There was a phase in my yoga journey when everything just felt… off.
Nothing flowed.
Each pose felt like work.
The peace I used to feel on the mat was missing.
I began to ask myself:
“Is yoga still for me?”
But deep down, I knew it wasn’t the yoga that had changed.
It was how I was showing up.
What Was Really Going On?

Looking closer, I saw what was happening:
- I felt like I had to practice instead of wanting to.
- My routine became dull, with no excitement or curiosity.
- There was a quiet pressure to “keep going,” even when my heart wasn’t in it.
- Honestly? I was getting bored.
I was still moving, but not connecting.
The Turning Point
Everything changed the day I returned to the mat without pressure—just a little openness.
The practice didn’t change.
I did.
Suddenly…
- I felt softer in my body.
- My breath came easier.
- I moved with more freedom.
- And most importantly, I felt like myself again.
That’s when I learned something important:
✨ Sometimes you don’t need a new yoga flow—you just need a new connection with yourself. ✨
